Fall Pictures at Guenella Pass

Well today we decided to take the boys to Guenella Pass to get their pictures instead of buying the ones from the school. The boys loved the idea. They picked out their own backgrounds and poses. Mind they forget that we went up Guenella for the beautiful view of changing aspens. Not one aspen in the pics. Oh well!! Today is Homecoming so all the boys are going to the game tonight. The games drive Sparkey nuts so my night will be filled with music to over ride his whinning.

First time blogging!! September 27,2007

This is our family!! I figure I should start a blog before all the kids are grown up.
Joe just graduated highschool in May and now attends Red Rocks community College full time with his general studies. He will be there for two years then wants to transfer to Johnson and Wales for Culinary Arts and Business. He is working at Breeze Ski still since last ski season. He likes a job that incorperates his love for skiing and snowboarding and reality of having a job.
Nick is a sophmore at Clear Creek High and taking out time from football this year to concentrate on his classes. He is dying for Loveland to open. He is a daralict doing tricks and jumps at the terrain park. He has switched from Spanish to French this year. He also is in a garage band with his friends. He plays bass but can also play drums and violin. I loved it when he played the violin. So peaceful!!
Zak is in 6th grade now and does really well in school. He is a perfectionist. Which means he hates art, because its not something that is black and white put a perseption of ones opinion. He is a straight A student that loves baseball. He is hoping to play for the big leagues some day!! He also plays in a band (the trumpet) but his is for school. He is in cross guard and can't wait until Middle School so he can play football. With his size I bet the coach would like him on the team.
Dakota is 7 now and I can't believe in second grade. He loves baseball and rough playing. He is so sensitive in some ways, and as awnry as can be, in others. He was the youngest on the block until our long time neighbors moved and a little boy named Aaron moved in. Perfect!! Dakota is a really good speller and fast at math. He is going to be a tough kid growing up with three brothers. Joe and Dakota get along really good, sometimes thats not good. Joe gets Dakota to do anything for him. I love Dakotas age right now because he is still my little boy and he always hugs me. Dakota loves camping so he can play in the lakes, roast marshmallows or anything else that makes him dirty.
Shane and I are enjoying the boys as they go through their own changes. Time goes by so fast and we want to cherish every minute. (well I could do with out the teenager talk) It seems like yesterday we were starting our family and now we are looking forward to the day Joe stars his own.
