Well today is Halloween! We had many scary monsters visit us and here are some pics from our own monsters. We go to Rock Creek Farms every year and this year we had Dwayne and Hailey with us. Dwayne and Hailey were spending the weekend so Shane and Dwayne could go hunting. Grandma and Grandpa are always great help with the boys picking out their pumpkins. Nick also got to collect insects for his biology project coming up in February. After eating candied apples we met Daniel at Casa Bonita for dinner. We all had a great time!!

The next week Hailey and Dwayne spent the weekend

again so we decided to have a candy making day with Grandma! We made candied apples and chocolate Halloween suckers while drinking hot apple cider. We really had a great time with Hailey!!


Zak was a mummy and Dakota went as Chuckie! Nick was a gangster and Joe went as backwards man!

I have some more pictures of Summer fun activities. We went to the Peach festival in Palisade at the end of August. Bet and Larry met us there for dinner Sat. night to eat steak and King crab legs. Yummmmmm. The boys found some praying mantises and tried to scare Bet with them. Shane helped a snake out of the camping area and at night the boys and Grandma caught crawdads and frogs.

Before Grandma and Grandpa met us at the campground we went swimming at the pond by our camp. Now that I look at the pictures I am thing "ewwwwwwwwww gross!".

Things we did over the Summer of 2007

This summer went by so fast. We had some big things happen. Mostly for Joe, like graduating highschool May 26th and turning 18 June 29th. He always threatened "The day I turn 18 I am out of here." Well he's still here so we get a big kick out of teasing him on his threats. We went camping alot this summer and Zak and Dakota both were in Little League Baseball teams. Cameron and Keena were on Dakota's team coached by Bart and myself with Shane's help. Zak was on the Twins team coached by Stacie, Reed and Shane.

We went to many places for camping this year since the weather was extremely nice. We started it out at Boyd Lake then moved on to two different weekends at Torquiose Lake. Torqoise Lake was really awesome catching alot of good eatin' fish. We cooked up the Mackinaw with a batter and ate it with tartar sauce. Yummy!! We then camped at Granby two different weekends, once with Daniel, where we agin caught many fish. Rainbows this time. Shane, myself and the boys minus Joe camped at Tin Cup by Taylor Res. for a week and rode our motorcycles and fished. Rain came in the last day and ruined the whole last part of the trip. Loading up all our soked gear was not a fun time. Here are a few pics from all the activities this summer.

Camping at St.Vrain Colorado Park and Wolford Res.

This weekend we went to St.Vrain campground for some warmer camping. Two week ago we went to Wolford Res. and the nights were getting a little nippy. The guys were busy all weekend catching small and large mouth bass and catfish. Oh yeah, the carp were their biggest challenge. Even deep sea poles couldn't reel in the big one. My Mom and I were busy feeling an order of candy corn hats we got right before leaving. Sixteen hats we have to have done by Tues. The weather was great up until Sat. night when Dwayne and Janine were over for dinner. We all crammed in our camper to eat. Wish I had a pic of that. Here are some pictures that Shane took of the boys fish they caught. Here is the pics from the crawdad dinner we had up at Wolford Res. YUMMY!! I have added a picture of our Dollie Girl. She thinks she is half deer half bird, either laying quietly in the yard to perching herself on shoulders and backs of seats.

Today we came back to snow. YUCK!! The boys are so excited though, Skiing is not too far away. They cannot wait.
